Adult Day Treatment Schizophrenia

With an Adult Day Treatment Schizophrenia program, Skyland Trail is a nonprofit, community-based center in Atlanta working with adults who have a diagnosis of schizophrenia or paranoid schizophrenia. Our clients are served through a full continuum of care including residential services, day treatment, intensive-outpatient treatment, vocational program, case management and a social club. Each client is matched with a primary counselor who guides treatment and provides support in setting and progressing toward goals. Clients practice their developing skills at our treatment center for schizophrenia in the residential and the social programs.At our state-of-the-art treatment center for schizophrenia, we assist clients in gaining the skills and understanding they need to work, attend school, volunteer, live in the community, enjoy relationships and experience quality of life. 

Skyland Trail’s treatment center for schizophrenia begins with an assessment of symptoms and skills deficits to determine the most appropriate treatment program. We use a range of therapeutic approaches to fit each client’s needs and learning styles. Group sessions focus on cognitive behavior therapy, support, skill building, psychoeducation, arts, horticulture and recreation. At our state-of-the-art treatment center for schizophrenia, we assist clients in gaining the skills and understanding they need to work, attend school, volunteer, live in the community, enjoy relationships and experience quality of life.
