Bipolar Disorder Symptoms And Treatment 

Skyland Trail is a private, nonprofit facility in Atlanta helping to educate adults about bipolar disorder symptoms and treatment. Many may overlook or not fully understand what bipolar disorder symptoms and treatments are about. At Skyland Trail we offer bipolar therapeutic interventions, we assist clients in gaining the skills and understanding they need to work, attend school, volunteer, live in the community, enjoy relationships and experience quality of life. As part of our bipolar disorder symptoms and treatment program, our clients are served through a full continuum of care including residential bipolar treatment services, bipolar day treatment, intensive-outpatient treatment, vocational program, case management and a social club. 

The facility at Skyland Trail begins with an assessment of bipolar disorder symptoms and skills deficits to determine the most appropriate treatment program. Each client is matched with a primary counselor who guides treatment and provides support in setting and progressing toward goals. We use a range of therapeutic approaches to fit each client’s needs and learning styles. Clients practice their developing skills at the bipolar treatment center in the residential programs and the social program. Group sessions focus on cognitive behavior therapy, support, skill building, psychoeducation, arts, horticulture and recreation.
