Manic Depression Treatment Facility 

To those with family members who deal with depression, a manic depression treatment facility could seem frightening and impersonal. That should not be the case. At Skyland Trail, we provide an environment of treatment, education and support that can lead to a positive and fulfilling future. 

Skyland Trail is a private facility located in Atlanta GA. This nonprofit manic depression treatment facility, aids in helping adults with a diagnosis of major depression, schizophrenia, anxiety and depression disorders or dual diagnosis. We are able to assist clients in gaining the skills and understanding they need to work, attend school, live in the community, enjoy relationships and experience a better quality of life. At our state-of-the-art treatment facility, clients are served through a full continuum of care including residential manic depression treatment services, bipolar day treatment, intensive-outpatient treatment, vocational program, case management and a social club. 

Each client is matched with a primary counselor who guides treatment and provides support in setting and progressing toward goals. We use a range of therapeutic approaches to fit each client’s needs and learning styles. Group sessions focus on cognitive behavior therapy, support, skill building, psychoeducation, arts, horticulture and recreation.
