Skyland Trail Announces New Professional Advisory Board Members
Atlanta (December 2, 2011) Skyland Trail, a non-profit treatment facility for adults with mental illness, is pleased to welcome seven new members to its Professional Advisory Board. This is a voluntary group consisting of a select group of psychiatrists from the Atlanta area, created to provide a forum for physicians to share information on best practices, to collaborate on professional issues, and to support the Skyland Trail clinical programs.
"We are thankful for this commitment from our new members, and excited at the extensive knowledge and experience these individuals will bring to the Professional Advisory Board," said Ray Kotwicki, MD, MPH Vice President of Professional Services/Medical Director. "They each add a unique depth of experience to our Board, and we are excited about their contributions as we continue to shape the challenging landscape of mental health care."
The following individuals will begin a three year terms, effective Jan 1, 2012:

- Bethany Davis, MD-private practice, Atlanta/Buckhead
- Suneel Katragadda, MD-Service Director, Peachford Hospital; private practice, Dunwoody
- Gail Mattox, MD-Chairperson, Morehouse SOM, Dept. of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences & Professor of Clinical Psychiatry; hospital appointments at Laurel Heights Hospital & Grady Health Systems
- Nina Schlachter, DO-Program Director of Women's Services, Ridgeview Institute: private practice, Smyrna
- Kimberly Serravezza, MD-private practice, Atlanta
- Myrna Thompson, MD-Medical Director, Summit Ridge Hospital
