Skyland Trail's 8th Annual 'Skyland Cup' Golf Tournament
Atlanta (April 28, 2009) - Skyland Trail's 8th Annual Skyland Cup golf tournament will be held May 19 at the prestigious Piedmont Driving Club golf course. The presenting sponsor of the tournament is Johnson & Bryan commercial insurance brokerage firm. Co-chairing the event are Robert and Robbie Wynne, joined by committee members Chuck Doty, John Rooker and Jim Shelton.
Proceeds from the Skyland Cup go directly to Skyland Trail's financial aid program. Since its inception, the financial aid program has distributed close to $4 million in need-based assistance to hundreds of adults with mental illness.
Unlike many charity events, the Skyland Cup offers participants the opportunity to play their own ball within a better-ball team format. - 9:30 am: Registration; range opens
- 11 am: Shotgun start (box lunch available on cart)
- 4 pm: Reception and live and silent auctions
