Treatment Center Adult Depression

Skyland Trail is a nationally-recognized, community-based non-profit treatment center for adult depression. The treatment center, adult depression facility at Skyland Trail has been in existence since 1989. Our full continuum of care includes adult depression residential treatment, adult day treatment depression services, intensive-outpatient, vocational program, case management and a social club. In our depression treatment center, clients gain skills and understanding to work, attend school, volunteer, live in the community, enjoy relationships and experience quality of life. 

Our clients are served by a multidisciplinary team which includes a psychiatrist, social workers, psychologists, a vocational counselor, a recreation therapist, creative arts therapists and a horticultural therapist. Working together, they assist the client in achieving his or her goals. Each client follows an individualized treatment center adult depression plan derived from initial and follow-up assessments. Our depression recovery treatment integrates a variety of components such as cognitive behavior therapy, support, skill building, psychoeducation, arts, horticulture and recreation.
