Chris Cline, MSW, LCSW, vice president of clinical services, recently presented on expressed emotion at Family Support Group (STEP). Expressed emotion (EE) is a measure within the family environment that specifically assesses emotions articulated by a key relative toward a family member with a disorder or impairment. In his presentation, Chris Cline discusses the types of expressed emotion and how to reduce this type of behavior.
