2017 Southern Shindig Review

Skyland Trail held its seventh annual Southern Shindig at Sweetwater Brewing Company. Guests enjoyed a night of music from Atlantans Bradley Smith and Nelson Nolen, while enjoying SweetWater’s brews and authentic barbecue by DAS BBQ. Guests also enjoyed a silent auction and raffle of 32 items ranging from accessories to unique group experiences, all generously donated by various companies and individuals in the community. Led by event co-chairs Katherine and Jason Deere, the event welcomed nearly 200 young professionals and raised more than $51,000. Proceeds from the event will support the psychiatric treatment program at Skyland Trail.
