Joyce Latimer, a National Referral Relations Representative for Skyland Trail, was recently elected to the Board of Directors of the National Association of Therapeutic Schools and Programs (NATSAP). NATSAP serves as an advocate and resource for innovative organizations that devote themselves to the effective care and education of struggling young people and their families.
“Skyland Trail is proud to have Joyce as part of our team and is excited for her to share her expertise to help NATSAP continue to improve services for young people nationwide,” says Beth Finnerty, Skyland Trail president and CEO.
The Skyland Trail adolescent residential treatment program for teens ages 14 to 17 was accepted as a NATSAP member in 2020, and Skyland Trail’s young adult program has been a NATSAP member since 2013. NATSAP requires members of the organization to be licensed by the appropriate state agency and/or be accredited by a nationally recognized behavioral health accreditation agency and to have therapeutic services with oversight by a qualified clinician.
