Cynthia joined Skyland Trail in 2011. In her role, Odom oversees marketing, community education, communications, admissions, business development, and facilities management.

Cynthia has held senior positions in corporate for-profit and not-for-profit behavioral health corporations for more than 25 years. She is skilled in nonprofit organizations, management, team building, executing company turnarounds, and increasing organizational effectiveness. She also has extensive experience improving processes, exceeding revenue targets, and reaching market growth objectives. Cynthia has expertise in managing and building national sales teams, relationship management, motivational leadership, crisis communications, strategic planning, branding, and social media.

Cynthia served as a board member of the Boys & Girls Club of Douglas County GA, member of the Georgia Hospital Association Psychiatric Association, Georgia Public Relations Society of America, and the American Marketing Association. She provided similar senior leadership for Inner Harbour Hospital/Youth Villages, Hospital Corporation of America and United Airlines. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Business from University of Memphis.
