Ways to Give

As we continue to navigate the coronavirus pandemic and the challenges it presents, we know that one constant remains: the need for mental health services. Skyland Trail has implemented best practices for infection control and social distancing to continue to provide life-saving services for our clients and their families. Now more than ever, charitable contributions will provide much needed financial resources for families in crisis and will play a critical role in helping Skyland Trail achieve its important mission.

How You Can Make A Difference

As a nonprofit organization, Skyland Trail relies on donations from individuals, corporations, and foundations to fund many programs and services that directly benefit clients and their families. Charitable giving supports unique opportunities that help our clients overcome treatment obstacles and fully engage in our full continuum of care from need-based financial aid to music, horticultural, art or recreation therapy, and more.

Personal Contributions

A personal gift in support of Skyland Trail is the easiest way to give. It is also tax-deductible as allowed by law. You can multiply the effect of your contribution through your employer's matching gift program. Ask your employer for details or contact Thomas Sumner at

Tribute Gifts

A gift to Skyland Trail in memory of a loved one, in honor of an accomplishment or milestone someone's life can be a special tribute. Based on your preference and the information that you provide, we will send a notification of your tribute as indicated at the time your gift is made. The acknowledgement card will not include the amount of your gift.

Commemorative Pavers

Engraving a paver at the J. Rex Fuqua Campus is a great way to honor a loved one, celebrate recovery, share a memory, or inspire hope. Your engraved paver will symbolize your support for Skyland Trail and its role in providing life-changing mental health treatment.

Planned Giving

Leave a lasting legacy and protect Skyland Trail's future through a planned gift. Planned giving and bequest contributions not only help ensure the future of Skyland Trail, they can also have substantial tax and income benefits.
