Cibby, a Skyland Trail alumni, donated several fiction novels and graphic novels to the reading libraries located on the Charles B. West Campus for adults and J. Rex Fuqua Campus for adolescents.

Through this gift, Cibby hopes to offer additional opportunities for Skyland Trail clients to create quiet retreats for themselves.

“Books provide the ability to throw yourself into another world and experience empathy with characters both alike and different from yourself,” says Cibby.

Cibby hand-selected the books to provide a balance of subject matter that includes more serious content, as well as graphic novels covering topics that are carefree and fun.

Following graduation from Skyland Trail, Cibby went on to obtain a degree from Savannah College of Arts & Design. They are now living in Boston and working as a children’s book author and illustrator.

Thanks, Cibby, for adding to our reading collection for adult and adolescent clients!
