Special Fundraising Events
Each year, Skyland Trail hosts several key fundraising events. These events serve as a source of funding to allow us to continue to provide vital mental health programs and services to our community.
We are honored by your participation and especially grateful to the sponsors of these special events.

The Associates are a volunteer auxiliary of Skyland Trail. The group consists of over 150 of Atlanta's cosmopolitan set of prominent women volunteers. In 2008, the inaugural Associates Luncheon took place at Cherokee Town Club to support the Foundation's mission of providing mental health treatment, education and research.

Come to Skyland Trail's Arts in the Garden to experience workshops, demonstrations, exhibits, performances, plant and art sales, silent auction, story telling, and mental health education. Admission is free.
Arts in the Garden is an annual event with presentations of visual and performing arts saluting the successful recovery of individuals with mental illness. AITG celebrates mental health month by giving consumers of mental health services the opportunity to display their art in order to educate the general public about mental illness and reduce stigma.

The Skyland Cup Golf Tournament serves as one of Skyland Trail's principle fund-raising events each spring. The 2008 event, hosted by Georgian Bank, brought together 28 foursomes for a terrific day of golf that helped raise over $150,000 in proceeds to benefit Skyland Trail's programs for adults with mental illness.
Benefits of Laughter
Held each fall as our primary fundraising event, Benefits of Laughter is a beautiful and exciting evening that celebrates the passion and dedication of all those involved with Skyland Trail. Each year, a different comedic guest entertains friends, donors, staff, clients and their families as we come together for a night of wonderful food and drinks. Funds raised from Benefits of Laughter support the financial aid and educational programs, allowing Skyland Trail to defray treatment costs and extend the benefits of its programs to many more individuals.
