Community Serves Up Support for Mental Health at Skyland Slam 2025
ATLANTA – Skyland Trail hosted its second Skyland Slam pickleball tournament on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at The Painted Pickle in Atlanta. More than 150 participants gathered for pickleball play, a silent auction and pub games.
Skyland Slam raised over $53,000 to support Skyland Trail’s financial aid program and life-changing mental health services. In 2024, Skyland Trail’s financial aid program distributed $2 million, helping 46 percent of clients access crucial mental health services that they may not have otherwise been able to afford.
Skyland Slam was led by the Skyland Trailblazers, a group of Atlanta’s emerging philanthropic community leaders who support Skyland Trail and its clients and families. The 2025 Trailblazers co-chairs are Emily Barbour and Abby Henderson.
