There are so many wonderful causes in the Atlanta community but Skyland Trail is in the business of transforming lives. I can not imagine anything more worthwhile than that.

Giving

Over the past decade, the Associates have raised funds to support critical client services and community education, including the purchase of a client bus for transportation, an EKG machine for our primary care clinic, a renovated kitchen in one of our client residences, campus-wide Wi-Fi, and the creation of Skyland Trail’s magazine, Journeys.

Associates Fund 2018:  Proceeds from the 2018 Associates Spring Luncheon and 2018 Associates Fund will fund the much-needed renovation of Skyland Trail’s gymnasium, the epicenter for physical fitness and recreation and campus-wide and community events such as Arts in the Garden. Your support will help improve and expand recreational programs at Skyland Trail in order to better promote healthy living and long-term recovery.

DONATE

Volunteer Service

Associates provide valuable volunteer support by donating their time in our horticulture, art, music or recreational therapy programs or organizing our annual Associates Luncheon. Associates also volunteer for community events like Arts in the Garden and decorate the Skyland Trail campuses for the holidays.

Contact Ashley David at 678-686-5905 or adavid@skylandtrail.org to learn more about volunteer opportunities.

Education & Networking

Associates meet several times a year to engage in informational sessions about mental health, learn about Skyland Trail and to socialize with fellow Associates members. The annual Associates Spring Luncheon features a keynote speaker who shares a personal story about living with mental illness, or new research and developments in the field of brain health.
