Skyland Trail Adds One to Board of Directors, Six to Advisory Board

Atlanta, GA – Skyland Trail, a nationally recognized nonprofit treatment organization for adults and adolescents, welcomed one new member to the Board of Directors and six new Advisory Board members. Shayan Hussain, CFA, was elected to the Board of Directors. New additions to the Advisory Board include Chowning Aguilera; Philip Clinkscales, III; Clinton Fletcher; Hil Harper; Olivia Wall; and Keith Wood, PhD.

The Skyland Trail Board of Directors’ responsibilities includes formulating the organization’s mission, maintaining its financial health, and ensuring quality care for clients. The Advisory Board provides advice and counsel to senior leadership, staff, and the Board of Directors in addition to establishing connections and involvement with the community.

Shayan Hussain, CFA, currently serves as the Managing Director for BlackRock, a multinational investment management corporation, where he is responsible for developing the company’s taxable fixed income platform while providing links between the investment team and clients. Prior to joining BlackRock, Hussain worked with JP Morgan and AT&T. Hussain earned an MBA from Columbia Business School, a BS in Business Administration, and a BA in Economics from Boston University.

Chowning Aguilera currently serves as the Healthcare Practice Lead at Jackson Spalding, a marketing communications agency. Prior to joining Jackson Spalding, Aguilera worked at marketing agencies, including as an executive at MERGE Atlanta. Aguilera is a graduate of the University of Georgia Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication.

Philip Clinkscales, III, CPA, CFA, CAIA, CGMA, CFP®, PFS, currently serves as a Director at Homrich Berg, a wealth management firm. Prior to joining Homrich Berg, Clinkscales held positions at SoundRiver Advisors and PPA Investments, Inc. Clinkscales earned a master’s degree in Public Accountancy from Georgia State University and dual bachelor’s degrees in Business (Real Estate) and Landscape Architecture from the University of Georgia.

Clinton Fletcher currently serves as a Partner at the law firm Copeland, Stair, Kingma, & Lovell LLP and has previous experience at several other firms. Fletcher earned a JD from the Emory University School of Law and a BA in International Relations from Boston University.

Hil Harper is the Co-Founder and Vice President of Ansley Atlanta Real Estate and has over 17 years of experience in the real estate industry. Harper earned an economics degree from the University of Georgia.

Olivia Wall is a marketing and public relations consultant at Mansfield Energy Corporation, where she has served for over 10 years. Wall also currently serves in several capacities on the board at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. Wall earned a BA in Art History from Washington and Lee University.

Keith Wood, PhD, is a licensed psychologist and an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Emory University School of Medicine. Dr. Wood also serves with the Grady Health System and as the Director of Cognitive Behavioral Social Skills Training Program at Grady Behavioral Health. Dr. Wood is a current member of the American Psychological Association and the Georgia Psychological Association. Dr. Wood has decades of experience serving the community in both Atlanta and Memphis, Tennessee, through work with organizations with missions ranging from mental health to homelessness. Dr. Wood earned a PhD in Clinical Psychology and Experimental Analysis of Behavior from the University of Florida.
