Skyland Trail’s Research to Practice Grand Rounds Connects Research and Clinical Care
ATLANTA, GA. — Skyland Trail’s Research to Practice Grand Rounds brings clinically oriented researchers to the organization to share innovative research and discuss how emerging findings can be applied to mental health treatment.
Skyland Trail’s Research and Education teams work in partnership with specialty programs at Emory, including the Emory’s Addiction Alliance of Georgia, Emory Anxiety Services, and the Clinical and Research Program for Psychosis at Grady Health System to host these impactful sessions.
The ongoing initiative gives clinicians and staff opportunities to engage directly with experts across a range of mental health disciplines. Sessions focus on translating research into practical applications that can inform clinical care.

Through the Grand Rounds, visiting experts present current research, emerging approaches to treatment, and the clinical implications of their work. Sessions encourage dialogue between researchers and Skyland Trail’s multidisciplinary teams, helping clinicians consider how advances in research may translate into day-to-day clinical practice.
