A community health expert, Chris Cline joined Skyland Trail in 2007, serving as clinical director and admissions director before assuming his current role of vice president of clinical services. Prior to joining Skyland Trail, Cline served as a mental health clinician at DeKalb County Jail in Georgia and AIDS Action Committee in Massachusetts.
Cline’s interest in community issues led him to serve in the Peace Corps during 1999 in Niger, West Africa. Today, he is a member of the National Association of Social Workers and was recently nominated for a “Heroes in Flight” Award from the Mental Health Association.
A native of Georgia, Cline received his Bachelor’s of Arts in psychology from Berry College and a Master’s of Social Work from Boston University where he focused on clinical social work.
