Tara Matthews, MBA,  joined Skyland Trail as Vice President of Finance in 2026.  With more than 20 years of healthcare finance and leadership expertise, Tara’s previous experience includes serving as Chief Financial Officer of AccordCare, a home care and home health organization, after previously serving as Senior Vice President of Finance and Controller and serving in senior finance leadership roles in eye care and fertility organizations. Earlier in her career, Tara spent seven years at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, where she served as a finance leader for the hematology/oncology service line. Tara holds a BBA in Accounting and an MBA from Georgia State University.
