Volunteer

Skyland Trail offers volunteer opportunities that allow individuals to share their time and expertise to promote recovery from mental illness.

Volunteer opportunities include working directly with clients in horticulture, art, music, exercise and fitness, or other areas of interest.

Generally, we ask that volunteers be 18 or older and commit to a minimum of three months of service. To protect the health and safety of our clients, all volunteers will be asked to complete a criminal background check and a TB screening test.

If you are seeking an internship or residency as part of an undergraduate or graduate degree program, please click here.

For more information, please complete a volunteer interest form and email it to our volunteer services team at volunteer@skylandtrail.org.  A member or our volunteer services team will contact you and conduct a short interview.

While we cannot guarantee a particular volunteer opportunity or schedule, we will do our best to find a good match for your skills, interest, and desired time commitment.
