Dawn Collinge LPC, NCC, MAC, ACS
Education Outreach Coordinator
2015-2022
Dawn was with Skyland Trail for 7 years, and, prior to that, served many years in the mental health field in various roles. At Skyland Trail, she has coordinated education outreach, supervised the clinical internship program, supported the STEP family program, served as pinch hitter in admissions, and much more.
Libba Shortridge, HTRS
Horticultural Therapist
2007-2022
Libba was with Skyland Trail for 15 years, leading our horticultural therapy program and generally bringing beauty to our campuses and hearts. She has been a vibrant and vital part of the “A-Team” and has supported all of our adult and adolescent programs. She has helped connect Skyland Trail to the community through partnerships with garden clubs, nature preserves throughout Atlanta, and events like Fairies in the Garden. She has touched the lives of hundreds of clients and helped them discover nature as a tool for recovery, health, and joy.
Mary Lou Mann
Facilities Coordinator
2000-2022
Mary Lou was with Skyland Trail for 22 YEARS! She’s seen, and been an integral part of, Skyland’s growth and physical expansion from its beginnings at 2573 Skyland Trail, to the present. She has been involved in the construction and the opening of the West campus, the Dorothy C. Fuqua Center, the South Residential campus the Glenn Wellness Clinic, the Rollins campus and the Fuqua Adolescent campus, as well as a number of renovations to some of those facilities. She has also, and importantly, ensured our compliance with The Joint Commission’s Environment of Care standards and the provisions of our PCH and CCI licenses, and has overseen Skyland’s safety program.
Stephen McDaniel, MD
Medical Director of Admissions
Dr. Steve McDaniel served in various roles at Skyland Trail throughout the organization's history. Most recently he served as a staff psychiatrist and as Medical Director of Admissions. He is beloved for his kindness, gentleness, and skill as a psychiatrist.
