Your Support Makes a Difference

Your support helps fund financial aid awards that allow clients to fully participate in a range of programs and services. Some programs, like our Family STEP Program and Alumni Program, are made possible entirely through your generosity.

Mark C. West Financial Aid Program

Our need-based financial aid scholarship program enables many clients and their families to access and complete treatment. While clients and families are responsible for a portion of their treatment costs, the Mark C. West Financial Aid Program helps fill the gap.

Expressive Therapies and Specialized Services

Working with our expert music, horticultural, art or recreation therapists can help open doors to the process of sharing and communication. Clients also are empowered to connect to the larger community through volunteer service opportunities and community-based social and cultural activities.

Clients also receive support from our interfaith spiritual counselor as well as training and guidance from our vocational services program. These unique programs significantly impact engagement and progress toward recovery.

Family Services

The weekly Family STEP Program connects families to peer support and mental health education with Skyland Trail clinicians and other experts in the community. STEP is offered free of charge to Skyland Trail families.

Alumni Program

The alumni program helps graduates of our program stay connected with their peers and engage in regular social opportunities. Skyland Trail clinicians provide skills boosters, and alumni support one another through peer support groups. Graduates from outside of Atlanta connect via a monthly phone call. There is no enrollment fee for the Alumni Program.
