Graduate Publishes Journal on Personal Recovery

October 06, 2017

Skyland Trail graduate, Beth Shaifer, has published a journal, Into the Moments of Light: A Gardener’s Journal, in which she shares her personal story of recovery from depression, anxiety, and drug dependency. In the book, Beth describes many of the inspirational quotes, coping skills, visualization techniques, and imagery that helped her move “out of the darkness into moments of light.”

Also included is a special foreward from Wade Lee, CPS, a fellow Skyland Trail graduate and coordinator of our Alumni Program.

To acknowledge her appreciation of Skyland Trail, Beth is donating all proceeds from the sale of her book to Skyland Trail.
